Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and LimbiqB ("we", "us", "our"). They govern your use of the LimbiqB application (the "App") and the website at limbiqb.com (the "Site").
The App is offered on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad, and on Google Play for Android when that listing is published. By downloading or using the App or the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
2. The storefronts
Apple distributes the iPhone and iPad app under Apple's terms. Google distributes the Android app under Google's terms. We do not sell the App on this Site. Those stores handle the download. We do not take payment card details on the Site.
The App is free to download. If a paid feature is offered later, it will be sold by Apple or Google under their terms, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply. Refunds for store purchases are handled by the store.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute the App except as permitted by law.
4. What the App is
LimbiqB is a place to keep clients, suppliers, appointments, invoices, and a simple income and expense record.
- Invoices and books are your records. You are responsible for their contents and for checking them.
- The App is not tax, legal, or accounting advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified adviser or for the records a law requires you to keep.
- It does not read or change the contacts stored by your phone.
- On Apple devices, iCloud sync is provided by Apple and only if you use it. The Android app keeps records on the device. We do not provide a cloud copy of your records.
5. Who may use it
The App is meant for someone running a business or keeping their own work records. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using it with the consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
6. Your content
You own the records you create in the App. We do not claim them.
If you choose to send us a record — for example by attaching an invoice to an email — you give us a limited licence to use that copy only to answer you. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the App or the Site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, interfere with the Site, or send unlawful, abusive, or spam messages through the contact form or by email.
8. Intellectual property
The App, the Site, and our branding (excluding your records) are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer that intellectual property to you.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For a failure that is not a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem rectified within a reasonable time.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to section 9:
- The App and the Site are provided as available. We do not warrant that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular tax, legal, or accounting purpose.
- We are not liable for business, tax, or other decisions you make from invoices or books in the App.
- Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, to the extent the law allows.
- We are not liable for Apple's or Google's stores, or for iCloud, which are operated by those companies.
11. Stopping use
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access to the Site if you breach these Terms or if we need to protect the Site or other people using it.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version will be at limbiqb.com/terms, with the date above. If you keep using the App or the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
